A First Look at the new Firefox 3.7 Theme

It hasn’t even been a month since Firefox 3.5 was released, but Mozilla is already hard at work on Firefox 3.7. This weekend they posted some mockups on the Mozilla wiki showing 3 new potential features for the Windows version Firefox 3.7. The first enhancement is that the toolbar and tabs use Windows Aero effects, including glossy, translucent buttons. There’s a new Page button on the left side of the tab area with options connected to the page. Finally, the Tools and Bookmark bars on the right side of the window that you can use to toggle the bookmark menu or customize the user interface. I don’t know about you, but I think this looks suspiciously similar to the interface of Google Chrome. Either way, it’s still a welcome change.
