iTunes 8 introduced a brand 3D visualizer full of spheres, ribbons, and lights that pulsate to the beat and tempo of the song you’re playing. But Apple didn’t invent this visualizer. Instead, they bought the rights to it from a small company and tweaked it a little. Unfortunately, Apple’s tweaked version is obsessed with planets and launching millions of photon torpedoes into them. The original Magnetosphere visualizer can be seen below.
